I want to make zucchini chocolate muffins. (It's zucchini everything right now!) My silicone muffin liners are missing. This is something that has never gone missing. I've used them recently, I remember using and washing them. There is only one place they are kept. I am baffled. No where to be found Kitchen may be getting some serious organizing. I still have many things to be gay about.

I will eat zucchini made in different foods but have never heard of making it into chocolate muffins. I hope you enjoy them if you find your muffin liners.

@paigea As long as you got them, I guess the liners aren't that important.

@DaddyEvil they do make it easier to get them out of the pan. I had some parchment paper ones for the rectangular muffin pan. So that helped. The round ones are just not pretty once I got them out

They are delicious. Had to make them without the muffin liners.

Oh that terrible 8 letter word. I hope you'll find those liners pronto. Until I was in my 40s I'd never heard of veggies other than carrots being used in desserts, I find it odd.

That's true for me too. Carrot cake was a family favourite. Not sure when I first heard of Zucchini, mango, kiwi, and various other things. Glad I do though. I love Zucchini and refuse to buy it in the grocery store. So, have to use it while it's growing. Only planted 2 plants.

I envy you, I haven't figured out how to grow veggies in this area without a greenhouse

@rebelann it's hot and dry, right? Tomatoes in a pot might be worth trying? As long as you keep them watered they might love the heat? Or lettuce now that it's getting cooler?

Did you ever find them? We keep baking things in one place too. Hopefully they are tucked away somewhere . . . just have to figure out where .

Yes I did. When Hubby put the dishes away, he put them in the salad spinner!

@much2say He's usually much better than that. At least he would usually just leave them out!

If you can't find the liners just make zucchini chocolate cake and slice it into squares.

I apologize. It is my fault. I stopped leaving things out in my house, and the gremlins left. I see where they are now. I vow to buy some new guitar picks, to keep the gremlins busy here.

@paigea Where were they? If it was in your underwear drawer (no pun intended), can you just make up a story?

@TheHorse Hubby had put them inside the salad spinner. No idea why and he's usually the one who puts thing back exactly in the same place!

Misplacing things is very frustrating. It happened to be today with my daughters inside shoes.

And I cannot find my cheese slicer. I remember that last week I thought to place it in a "better place" and now I can remember where.

@paigea I wonder why I move things, if they stayed in the same place for years, it means it was a good place.

Oh that happens to me when I put things in "better" places ?? I know I didn't purposely put them in another place.

I did, and I neglected to make a post. Hubby, mister a place for everything, had put them in the salad spinner when he unloaded the dishwasher.

You’ll probably find the muffin liners where you least expect to find them. I lost my keys an searched everywhere, finally felt in my pocket and there they were.

Hubby lost his keys outside the other day. He searched in a grid and found them. Usually things turn up.

How did they turn out? I'm thinking the chocolate would be good with it. Mike's Mom makes, or did until it became too hard for her--she's 91 now, zucchini bread which I always enjoyed.
