Should I ask her to excuse me?

Today I went to the kitrchen for coffee. And on my way back I heard drops of rain pounding on the terrace roof. So I looked through the glass door of the dining room and discovered in disgust that there was a destroyed bag of garbage outside. The first thing I discovered was that it was mine judging by its contents. How could it have come there? The fence door was closed. The second fence (Luna´s) was also closed. My neighbors are sweet so they could not have thrown it. I changed my slippers into my slipins and went for a can, a broom and a shovel. How I hate this! You know tthat this is the only work that makes me pay Anita every week. Yet I could not wait 2 more days. I went out. Luna was looking from a prudent distance. Bad doggy, I said. Go to your house. I promise I didn´t yell or even talked very loud. But she knew. She went inside her house instead od coming to ask for some petting. I cursed under my breath while my trmbling hands gathered almost everything. Anita will have to get the cracked egg shells tomorrow. I just did not want Luna to choke with plastic. Even though rain poured over me, I had to know what had happened. And I discovered that either Mario or his son had left the doot to the garagee open. I mean, why, if you OPEN a door with your hands you don´t close it when you are through? Do you want the DOG to do your job? I feel that I should ask Luna to forgive me. It was not her fault. But on the other hand, I don´t want to give her the idea that it is a good thing to pick up garbage. Garbage is not a toy. And food is left in her dish. So I came back and just ate my last piece of cake. While I weite this I can see that my hands are trembling very much. I´m not used to do the pick up job I just did. I´ll read for a while. Luna is hidden inside her house and it is raining outside. At least that is good. The rain will help the garden.

I'm sorry the door was left open. I hope you and Luna have a good day.

I had to come back to read what poor Luna had done to be in the dog-house, so to speak.

I wouldn´t have minded so much if it hadn´t been raining. But it wasn´t her fault.

When we first moved here stray dogs were always knocking our garbage cans over and getting into the trash bags. What a nightmare. Sorry this happened to you.

This wasn´t Luna´s fault. I leave my trash cans in places where she can´t reach them. Mario left the door open.
