I have to share this one with you. Today has been a semi busy day already. I've been fighting the pain I have been experiencing, plus trying to get ready for that stupid inspection (their also going to check the sinks and bathtub for soap scum) One neighbor says they'll probably do the usual thing and breeze through and not do such a thorough job. Well, with the inspection coming up the areas getting crammed full are my closet, pantry and storage unit. So, the "out" door is opened a LOT with my hauling stuff down. The one thing I worry about is my little Siamese Freya getting out. Today I had a heck of a scare!!! I had put some more things in the closet, and had some stuff for the dumpster. I decided on some breakfast first and did some scrambled eggs. Well, Petey positioned himself to help me eat breakfast (I found out he loves scrambled eggs!) and as usual I didn't finish them so I opened the fridge while I wrapped the left over eggs. I popped the eggs in and shut the door. I proceeded to do my other chores and I suddenly realized that I hadn't seen Freya in awhile. Of course the search was on. I checked the closet, the bathroom, the pantry, then the light came on and I immediately checked the fridge. NO FREYA!!!! I looked under the bed, in the window at the head of the bed, behind the living room television...NO FREYA!!! I went back to the bathroom to check the bathtub and then I happened to look at the shelf under the television, there was something sitting there but I didn't recognize it. I went back to the kitchen/living room searching for Freya with no luck. Suddenly the light that used to be my brain came on!!! Sitting on the shelf under my bedroom television was this furry thing that is brown and cream with blue eyes. She was giving me a look like "When are they coming to cart you off? Who is going to clean our litter box while you're gone??? Do you really have to go??????" She is currently in the kitchen playing in her toy box and having a wonderful time with her pipe cleaners.

now that was amusing and naughty Freya. With my two I also have my moments. That is when they change sleeping places. Two nights ago Freddie settled on top of the cat tree surrounded by the little purple lights I keep on so the room is not too dark. That took care of him, I could not locate Tish she is a real loner and looks for places that are remote. I knew she couldn't get out so as I was sleepy I figured when I made a bathroom run I would probably be falling over her, At about 3 AM I awoke to hear Tish yacking up a hairball right under my bed Since then that is where she lives under the bed except to come out to eat and poop. Unfortunately, for my bad knee and sciatica I cannot get on my knees to see how messy she makes things under there SIGH I hope you have some relief from the pain, and best of luck with the inspection,
