Do you often allow few negative people to distract you?

Since your mind is your private place or sanctuary, do you still allow negative comments and opinions distract you? People don't share their mistakes online but they want to pick on people who make mistakes. This means taking care of your personal boundaries and going for what you want.

You're absolutely right! Our minds are indeed our private sanctuaries, and it's important to protect them from negativity. It can be challenging, but focusing on positive thoughts and personal boundaries can help us stay centered and focused on our goals. It's all about taking care of ourselves and going after what truly matters to us.

@ogbenishyna hat's great to hear, Tunde! It's always reassuring when our thoughts resonate with others.

I agree with you. I am a sensitive person and negative people affect me too much.

The negatives would always be there and what other people think and say is beyond our control. The only thing we can control is our reaction to it. It takes practice and we get better at it with conscious effort and consistency to keep our minds as peaceful as it can be and to set personal boundaries to protect it.

i agree with you. if someone is not respecting our boundaries, it is not worth communicating anymore.

I don't allow negative comments to distract me. They do disturb for a while but soon I dump them in their rightful place .

I purposely let negative comments distract me, as often a distraction will help me to think differently, as both positive and negative aspects, are better to take notice of, than just be blind to the negative, and positive to the positive.

@ogbenishyna Thanks. I like to throw a red herring into the discussion, sometimes.
