I had posted a couple of days ago about 7 cows who got loose apparently, and the owners were looking for them. The good news is they were located and returned. Wondering where she had them though...She lives in a community about 5 miles from here..the lots are bigger there..but don't think you can have farm animals..but I could be wrong I guess. They could have some 5+ acre lots there, and that is what you need to have farm animals in this state unless they are specifically prohibited by your development. Anyway, happy the cows are home!

Ahhhhhh!!!! That soothing lulling moo when they are getting ready to go to sleep. All that almost free fertilizer. It's amazing though, that no one reported that 7 cows were wandering loose along the road with no escort. The person(s) who had them got some free fertilizer. With 5 acres there isn't as much worry about the "smell". I'm glad that the cows got home okay though!!!

Yeah, who knows why they decided to take off en masse? I guess they were exploring...looking for greener pastures perhaps.

She'd be pleased to have them home. They're probably worth quite a bit even as meat.

Yes, I think they are more pets..but I think they are dairy cows so they must get milked. It would have been bad if they got on the highway.. Kudos to Bessie, Bossy..and the others for making it home

Yes, kind of odd they just decided to trot off like that. At least I guess they stuck together as a herd.
