At least not pictures that do not have kids in them. I do not have permission to share pictures of kids. It was a fun trip and I will likely take Bob sometime to enjoy both locations. The Old Cowtown Museum is made up of all kinds of buildings and businesses you would have seen in the 1800's. The kids were encouraged to read some of the signs that were posted talking about the history of Wichita. Botanica is a complex of gardens and nature themed venues. Lots of beautiful flowers. They also have various seasonal displays. Right now volunteers are assembling Lego sculptures of various animals throughout the park. Also there are bronze statues of various sorts throughout. There was a man made hill that kids could climb on and roll down, etc. I think it was covered with artificial grass, because I cannot see how a mower could access it. The boys and girls loved this. They climbed, jumped, and rolled and wore themselves out. Then we moved on to a more shaded "children's park" where there was a large "bee watering station" that looked like an inverted bowl covered with glass and marbles with a dip in the top and water flowing down the sides. Great place for toasty warm kids to cool down. My kiddo loved this part a lot. Wrapping up the school year, and I am ready.

Oh my. That would be so fun snooping in the buildings and checking out the plants. I'm glad the kids had a blast.
