This has happened to me before when I was with my band, many years ago... and again when I used to escort celebs and sports stars back then. I've never freaked out or treated them any different than I would treat you or anyone else in such a situation.
I've learned that in reality, "People are People" and stuff happens to them, like having to answer "The call of Nature" at the most inconvenient times...
I've met celebrities, ranging from the late John Wayne to Milton Berle, one of the funniest comics that ever lived. I've talked on the phone with Paverotti, and met sports legends like Ronny Lot and Bernie Parent... from the old school, to the new school, some were cool, some not-so-cool
But this isn't about me, it's all about you and your responses to a surprising encounter. Remember the "Six Degrees" thing?

Well, honestly I will be shocked...LOL...He is a big star and now he is in front of my door asking for my help...How is that? Hehe...I will let him in and treat him in a nice way. Ask him what he want..I will not call my neighbors because I know he needs his privacy too...I will just tell them the story after he has already left...LOL

It's something to consider,, because there are so many unusual experiences to be had in Human existance, that I'm happy to report that there really is no need to be bored! LOL! :)
There are a lot of movies filmed in your beautiful country... maybe it will happen to you one day! :)

Gosh, you've listed some of my fave people there. I'd be cool. I could handle it. I'd treat them like an old friend and try not to be nervous or make a big deal out of it. I'm pretty comfortable in most people situations (the times I'm in strife or someone is angry with me I don't handle well) and think I'm easy going enough not to make an idiot of myself. I'd be able to excuse myself and laugh it off if I did. The one person I'd really like to have use my bathroom is the Galai Lama.

You have met John Wayne. Wow that is so cool. My oldest daughte has her hall set up as a tribute to John Wayne.She has posters and such up. I just loved John Wayne. His movies were so good and never dirty. I wish they made movies like that today instead of all this trashy scenes. I will go finish reading your discussion now. LOL

How about Hugh O'Brian (Wyatt Earp), Carroll Channing (Hello Dolly), The whole crew from Happy Days, Monte Hall (Let's Make A Deal), Steve Carlton (Phillies star pitcher), and Yul Brenner (The King and I)... and so many more, including a few politicians, but I won't go there! :)

I dont expect to ever be in that situation but if I were, I would let them in to use the bathroom. Most on your list are people that I do not admire. But John Wayne is super.

I guess it really depends on who shows up at my door. I'd like to think I'd treat them just like anyone else who would, offer a drink, food, invite them to sit down and talk. But if it were, say, Bon Jovi, I'd probably turn into a bumbling idiot and blush and stammer and get sweaty palms. Then I'd grab my son's guitar and ask him to sing "It's My Life."
Looking at your list, I'd like Jodi Foster, Anthony Hopkins and Kate Winslet to visit. I'd paste on a goatee and don some glasses and pull out my stack of notecards and conduct my own Inside the Actor's Studio.
I can't think of any brushes with greatness, like you've had. The closest I've come to a celebrity was when the host of "This Old House" was staying at the hotel where I worked. He came into the bar where I was waitressing. We flirted, and he gave me his room number and asked me to visit him. And no...I didn't, in case you're wondering.

naturally I would be more excited if a celebrity goes into my house. I would be shocked at first, but then I would offer the special celebrity with food or beverages and would show him / her the way to the bathroom.
I would treat any of them equally, whether he / she would be britney, or robert, or all, or cher, or micheal.
and I would talk to him / her, ask her / him questions and stuffs.
I would also ask for an autograph and take a picture with him / her. I would not call my neighbors, I would just show to them the pictures afterwards.
I would call my best friend and tell him the weirdest thing that just happened to me. of course, they would not believe me but showing them the picture and the autograph, perhaps they could believe.
