Where did it come from? Why'd you choose it? Does it mean anything particularly special? I always assume that people's screen names and avatars are somehow linked to person, though of course that always isn't the case.
My online names and avatars usually reflect music so here's no different. The dancing milk is from a Blur video (Coffee & TV) which I love to bits (both video and song). It's one of my top 5 music videos of all time.

My name is named after the god of war, i dont know the significance of the 196 its just something that stuck after some time with me using it, my avatar is my pet lizard Stroodle

That lizard is not huge! My lizard Stroodle is the tiniest thing you have ever seen, hes still a baby and no he is not an iguana he is a beaded dragon, 9/10 months

My avatar expresses myself. I love to write, particularly anything regarding mystery and suspense in this time period, in a former time period, on another world, on a fantasy world, etc. I also am an Agatha Christie fan, so I figured what would a lady who is an adventuress and is mysterious look like? So I drew mine. I am also into music and singing, so you could interpret it as she's conducting an orchestra or a band when the furnace went off. I was going to upload a picture of myself, but I did not want to scare anyone.

mine is obviously a wedding picture and yes that is our wedding picture, I just love looking at those photos and I thought of having one in mylot would be great for me of course. My old avatar is also a wedding picture which shows our unity candle.

Aw wow.. that's a gorgeous shot. When I see couples on avatars I always think it's too romantic and cheesy for me, but I bet that's going to change when I get married and I'm going to end up putting one on there as well! Haha. Very nice pic, I really like the black and white.

My avatar is of the Miami skyline. I believe the buildings are along a road called Brickel Avenue and are taking from Key Biscayne. Key Biscayne is a small island off of Miami. I few months ago I had a picture of the skyline at night, but I decided to change it to a daytime picture. I may update it occassionaly.

I noticed! I thought it was the skyline from the Miami downtown though. It's very pretty, I only appreciate Miami when I leave it and go somewhere where there are no beaches or palm trees or a tropical-esque sceneries. It's really a gorgeous place.

My avatar is a picture that was on my computer. I want to change it but I haven't had the chance to do so yet. And I forgot how to change the avatar. It doesn't mean anything to me but sometimes it makes me very calm and relaxing by looking at it. I really like yours, its cute.

I got this avatar from a frend of mine.. n it was he who suggested me to put it coz according to him it reflects my personality... i didnt know if it really did reflect anything.. but i kept it coz it was a frend's gift n thus holds much significance to me...

My mylot username is a title I planned on giving to a kitten that I never ended up getting, but I grew attached to the name, which I found online.
My avatar is a picture that I made, taking a sample from another picture of me and cutting out my left eye, which I then editted on my laptop.
I thought that it suited my name, and was (no pun intended) eye-catching =]
