Need to loose weight

Well, I don't like to say this outloud, but it is true: I definitely need to loose some weight. During this summer I haven't been eating properly and I have gained around 5 more kilos than what I had. And now I need to recover because I don't like to see what I see in the mirror anymore. The problem is that I hate diets. I like to eat everything, specially junk food or sweets, everything that is bad for you. Do you have any advices for me? How do I get myself into a diet?

@fufurinha Reduce on eating Sugar. That will make you lose weight very fast.Eat maximum 3 times a day. Try to eat healthier foods rather than junking up. Most importantly, love yourselves. Once you accept yourselves for who you see in the mirror now, it will help you to maintain your weight when you get slim mentally and physically. ;-) goodluck , God bless.

Exercise is what matters. What's your favorite? Mine is cycling.

@TheHorse ... Hey...no pushups...I am too old for any of them. Hardly any Indian women do it...and I am proud of my identity ..20 crunches and half an hour on exercise bike...that is all I can manage apart from half an hour walk.

Don't think of it as a diet and eat moderate portions of everything and occasionally treat yourself to something sweet

@fufurinha You are absolutely right. It is so hard to do! I even like some exercise like cycling but it doesn't make up for how much I enjoy the eating! Good luck to you.

I have gained weight since my work hours were slashed in half. Not working those hours has put the flab on. I need to find something to do for the same amount of time. Maybe walking and taking photos of things I see would do.

Well diets don't work. They'll help you lose a frw pounds but 9 times out of 10 the people always gain it back. If you want to lose weight then you have to make a lifestyle change. Which means eating balanced meals with lots of variety. You can eat "unhealthy" things as long as you eat it in moderation. Exercise is important in weightless but you can out run a bad diet. If you start to make small changes in your diet it will be easier to transition to a healthier lifestyle.

@fufurinha If you make small changes to start off with it is a lot easier to break the bad ones. Like start with just drinking less soda and adding in more water. Then if you want to eventually cut out caffeine all together. Some with junk foods. Just wing yourself off of it and replace it with healthier options.

I was similar to you, I hate diets, I love my food too much, and restricting the things I like to eat the most, which are in fact the highest calorie content would depress me. So for me the only thing that works is exercise. I have always been fat in my earlier years, and I tried numerous amounts of diets, I would yo yo and binge and I would end up losing a few pounds only to put more on! They didn't last long and I would crave chocolate. I joined a gym and only when I started to eat sensibly and included foods that I did enjoy, together the weight started to come off and stay off. The trick is NOT to stop eating something because it's high in fat/high calorie, if you do that you are more likely to fail. Moderation is the key and of course exercise. If you are new to exercise start off gently then build up, you don't have to join a gym, just a brisk walk, a cycle or walking instead of using the car or public transport. Find a friend who wants to lose weight then you can give each other encouragement. Rewarding yourself too, not necessarily with food, have targets you want to reach, and when you have reached them, treat yourself to a me, myself and I day, pamper yourself or buy clothing that would love to fit into as a goal. I am sure you will do it.

I lost weight with NutriSystem. BUT my general advice is :don't eliminate any one element from your diet. You'll crave it and end up bingeing. Best to cut to small portions of what you are already eating. And always keep up your every day exercise. Try to find snacks that are better for you, if you can't control yourself on those things. Yogurt whips are really good, for instance.

Eat as much as you can and work till everything is digested. Advises will not work out. in the case of weight loss. There may be many posts on the subject. But, the reality is that there should be a perfect balance between what and how much you eat and how much you work. This is the only secret of Weightloss.
