20 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from a cool, windy day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. Currently, it's 43 F, but feels much colder because of the wind.
It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful for the time I spent with you today. It's always a pleasure to see what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful I could get Teddy and Freddy out when I took them for a walk and took care of business. I'll take them out again in a little while.
I'm thankful for the work I did on In the Hands of Mighty Men and Faith to Believe. The work is coming along well.
I'm thankful for a quiet day. I like days when I have nothing more to do than spend time here or watching television.
Okay, that's my day. I still need to get my steps so I'm going to do that now and see if Teddy and Freddy want to go out. I'm not taking them for another walk. Their mama should be home in a couple of hours.

I've had a fairly relaxed day, so I'm thankful for that. My eldest son has done some research for me for my next article. My youngest has spent the day creating YouTube videos for his channel.
I'm thankful for my lovely husband. He does a lot for us. We've realised there may be some issues with him travelling abroad due to some of his medication. He's putting himself through a lot of pain/withdrawal to see how he manages as that will be the only way he can join me on holiday. I told him I think he's stupid for doing that but I'm thankful that he is so thoughtful and determined.
I'm thankful for some other lovely people. I've been organising a party. I was getting a little frustrated that certain people who could help (both with time and cost) didn't even offer. So I am especially thankful for the people who, despite being busy, have gone out of their way to do all they can.
I have also booked a short break for myself and my husband later this year (not going out of the country for that one!) I'm thankful that I have the means to do that.
There are lots of other things but that will do for now!

@just4him he hasn't checked with the doctor but he was supposed to. I think they'd have been more likely to tell him to reduce it slowly. He's had the odd day or two before without the medication for various reasons.
I'm hoping the party is a success, and we get lots of guests. I've invited about 90 people and only 10 responses from people saying they're coming! It's 6 weeks away so I'm hoping more people will let me know nearer the time.
I think my boys are very talented 
they're both young adults. They're very clever, talented, and lovely. Both doing lots of things while looking for jobs.

You have a lot to be thankful for. Is it okay with his doctor to go off the medication? I hope he can do it and go with you on your holiday.
I hope the party goes well. I'm glad you have help with it.
Your children sound talented too with the YouTube videos and helping you with research.

I'm thankful for the nice day we had. Little concerned about George dozing on the couch. It's only 6 Pm, and he'll be up all night otherwise. Though having a break from the t.v. is good. He doesn't seem bothered by the laptop. Not to worried about the sleeping, because I know it's mostly out of bordam.

Your day sounds very relaxing!
It was quiet here today also. I did keep up with scoring for the National Gymnastics Championship and that was fun. It cooled off here today also. I had shorts on this morning and it got quite chilly after lunch for shorts. I still have them on though

I'm thankful that this cold/bronchitis is going away slowly but surely; and I'm glad we are able to pay for the charges at the rehab facility. Have a good day.
