Hello myLotters!! I'm enjoying another cup of coffee while hitting those notifications! I was up until the wee hours of the morning and actually caught up on my notifications so trying to stay on top of things there!
I am planning on going to a small town to the east of where I live that has a couple antique stores, Mercantile store, flea market/vendor stores and see what the atmosphere is like there. This will give me some idea of what to do with the antique store booth. I do want out, but don't want to make a hasty decision.
I was supposed to go restock at the antique store today, but I am not in the mood to go there. I did this/started it because I enjoy it and I am not enjoying the current situation there.
What are you doing this afternoon?

I am just very unhappy that vendors are not treated equally and get the same exposure on their Facebook page. We all pay rent.
Then I asked to post myself, instead of waiting for the controlling lady to post my products or booth which only came every other month, or if it did get posted one post a month. I got approval to do that from owner and now the controlling person never approves my posts to go live on the page. I don't have time to deal with controlling people! They are only hurting their business. So let them fail.

@LadyDuck That is very kind of you. I've been posting some on my Facebook page and also other groups that allow for sale posts of collectibles and antiques. I'm not staying there. I don't feel like I can. I really think that the main booths getting all the posts belong to owner and the other lady. That would go along with the controlling attitude and behavior.

@LadyDuck She has been there for six years, but I have noticed that she asks this other lady her opinion on a lot of things, but she is not a co-owner--just a friend who "helps out and controls the Facebook page" and who knows what else. I have been called rude for asking questions that have stepped on their toes!

Follow your mood and don't go there. There is no fun pushing yourself to do something that you don't enjoy any more.
It's past midnight here. It's officially Friday here. I am not sleepy yet and would mylot for a while.

@kareng That doesn't sound good. Nobody would appreciate such kind of control in the business. It would feel suffocating.

Thursday I was supposed to start seeing a therapist, but she cancelled the appointment. I watched some church services on facebook.

I'm sorry you're not enjoying the antique store. Time for a change. Have a good day. Hubby's cousin is coming over this morning to pick up some stuff to bring him and to make me some PB&J sandwiches.

It's the management. They are too controlling. My big issues is posting on the FB page for the store. They don't post my stuff...maybe one post a month if that much, then another month 2 posts. So asked if I could post for myself. Got okay and now my posts are never approved to go live on the page. Now wouldn't you think that the more posts in general would be better for the store? I don't think they get marketing at all.
