We went to the big Tesco again yesterday. I did the usual with the soft plastic recycle, then we went up on the lift. We got some flowers first, then I got this months Doctor Who magazine. I saw a magazine with a stamp set. One of the stamps in the set was of two people sitting either side of a table drinking coffee or something, but their heads were missing! I didn't get that! I got the usual stuff. Water and prawn layered salads. Then I got some MenoHerb for my menopause symptoms. My Mum didn't want any pads because she's got enough at home. We had a look at a nice dress I saw. It was blue with lacy bits at the top. £25. I didn't get it. Then went to the fruit and veg section and got the usual stuff. Then I got my usual yoghurts and Mum's milk and Mum got her usual puddings for Sunday. Then I went and got some sliced red Leicester cheese for my Mum. After that we went to the vegan and ready meals isle and got the usual stuff. Then I got some olive oil and some tamari soy sauce. I got a beef and tomato pot noodle for Syd, then I went and got some sliced buns. Next we went and got some cakes. I got my little vegan cakes, and Mum got some Bramley apple turnovers for her and Syd for their supper. It was also Mum's turn to take the cakes to the house group last night, so she got some cakes for that. She also got some jam tarts for home. I got some pringles, then I went and got both the Matcha and camomile T-bags, and my Love, Corn. Mum got some wagon wheels and bourbon biscuits for Syd and rich tea biscuits for herself. She also got some cheddar biscuits to take to the house group. Then she told me she wanted some honey roasted peanuts, so I had to go all the way back to the other end of the isle again to get them! Then I got some Alpen cereal with no added sugar for my Mum. And then it was off to the frozen section. I got some vegan magnum ice lollies again, some frozen leeks and some frozen red onion. My Mum got some frozen peas. Then we went round the other side and got a box of microwave chips for Syd. I got some of the battered cod and then I got some salmon chunks. I reached down some duck rolls for my Mum. Then I went and got some washing up liquid. Then we went to pay. Mum stood at the end again to stop someone putting stuff on before we'd finished. After we'd packed our stuff in the bags we sat on a bench for a bit. I didn't have any books to swap at the Tesco book swap because it's taking me ages to read this book. We went to go down on the lift. We were going to let these two ladies come in with us, but the door started closing and we started going down. Mum said, We're moving and I haven't pressed the button! I said Yes, we're going down. Then I said, Now we're going back up again! The door ripened and the two ladies were standing there. Oh! Sorry! They said! We thought we'd left enough time! Anyway we let them in and had a laugh about it. One of them pressed the button and down we went. When the lift stopped and the door opened we were at ground floor. One of the ladies said, Yes, we're on the ground floor! Syd wasn't there yet, so I went to sit on a bench. As soon as I sat down he came! Typical! So we went home. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. Later I put the recycle out ready for the recycle bin man today. Frances came to pick Mum up for the house group. She put all the cakes in a bag to take them, and off she went. When she was gone I put the new flowers out and then went and put the old flowers and the offcuts in the garden waste bin, which was already on the drive. I also went out and put some more recycle out from items I'd used for my dinner, like the prawn layered salad container. I also had other little jobs to do. I was still up when Mum came back. What did you lot get up to yesterday? And what are you getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

It was a holiday yesterday, in most part of the world, so I stayed at home. I was also very unwell, I am glad it was a holiday, I could rest all the day.

Yes, it was May Day. We stayed in in the morning and only went out in the afternoon to do the shopping. I'm sorry you were unwell. I hope it didn't spoil your holiday. I'm glad you could rest all day.

Yesterday we went to a meeting at the rehab facility and then got to see my husband. Today I must file another appeal because they want to discontinue insurance starting tomorrow. Sigh. Have a good day.

@sharonelton It was great seeing my husband. The insurance company doesn't want to keep paying, so they try to oust the person out of rehab.

@LindaOHio I'm glad you had a good time seeing your husband. You mustn't put up with that. You must keep fighting it. After all, what do you have insurance for? Thank God for the NHS I say!

I hope that went well and you enjoyed seeing your husband. That's bad. I'm sorry about that. Why would they do that?
