Glen Hills Middle School eighth grade student Acie Holland III is being praised by Glen Hills Middle School Principal Anna Young as well as Acie father Acie Holland II as his community in Wisconsin for taking action to take over the school bus that a female bus driver passed out while she was driving a bus on Friday April 24. After the bus driver suffered a medical condition while driving her students home, Acie managed to stop a school bus from crashing onto oncoming traffic by taking over the wheel and park the bus safely. Acie then called 911 to inform the authorities about the incident who then send an emergency team to take care of the driver who blacked out behind the wheel who regained her senses so that Riteway dispatch would have a replacement driver take the students home safely. Officials with the Glendale-River Hills School District recognized the good deeds done by Acie who was trained by his grandmother who is a nurse. Link is msn.com/en-us/tv/celeb...

That is very true that had Acie not taken action to stop the moving bus when he did, it could have been a tragic ending.

I'm glad he knew what to do to stop the bus and save the lives of the other passengers on the bus. He's a hero in my book.

This shows us that driving instruction should be part of school education, and it was good this lad knew what to do here, and to stop the bus, in a situation which potentially could have been a whole lot worse. The boy was quick to recognise the situation, and to take action here too.
