I had a really odd dream last night. I dreamed my mother was here visiting and also my son. We were running around doing touristy things, and somehow my mother came up missing. We kept asking friend who was the chauffeur where he dropped her off. He kept saying "At the Charlottesville outlet mall." There isn't one, but for purposes of the dream I guess that is where we were and had some pizza at some point. Then we said she wanted to go to a motel, did you drop her off there? He didn't remember..

. Anyway, we were trying to have her paged at the mall, when I woke up. I think I was thinking of her due to Mother's Day. Any odd dreams for you last night?

Yes, I also had an odd dream. I was "at home" (which home I have no idea) and my husband came in with her cousin saying that he had invited her for dinner. I panicked because it was already late afternoon and I had nothing ready to serve. I opened the refrigerator, I saw a large piece of roast beef and (in my dream) I said "well, it's 2 weeks old, but it looks perfect". There were some up and down inside an elevator to find something to drink and I woke up before someone got poisoned with that old roast beef.

At least you didn't "lose" your mother.

I did not lose my mother in my dreams, but we lost her once (years ago) and it took the whole day to find her. She came from Italy to visit us in Monte Carlo and she got out of the train at the wrong place.
