It Takes The Right Kind of Money to Travel / myLot

No, I don't mean you have to be reach to travel or have a lot or take a lot of money, but it's the kind of money you take that matters. For example, if you're going out of the country you'll need to exchange money for foreign currency. If you're travelling domestically you'll need enough money for necessities including small bills for tipping taxi drivers, baggage handlers, etc.

Thank you for sharing the information on travel tips when the money exchange since the only travels my relatives and I took were from Panama to U S and Canada.

It helps to have local currency, but I used to just use debit or credit cards for the most part.

And all that does add up. Having enough, plush a cushion for those just in case moments, are just as important.

You are absolutely right, But even if you settle in a country you have to know your money, After Latvia changed from their currency which I was used to and started with Euro it seemed like play money to me until I got used to it,

@louavul Do you find Western Europe a bit bland now the way most countries use the Euro? I preferred it when there were Drachma, Lire, Francs, Guilders etc.
