I had a good day at Guitar Center today. I even got my Saturday hug from Ava, and am helping her get started on Beethoven's Fur Elise.
When I got home, Kitty meowed a bunch, and sat by my KLH Model 21 radio. I complied and put on a local radio station. She lay down, fell asleep there, and has not moved since.
Do you have someone you can ask to make everything OK? I think Kitty really does like music.
For those interested, that's an Ibanez bass in its soft case behind the radio. To the left is an NAD tuner I'm not using right now, Further to the left is a pair of Snell K/IIs that are also silent. Behind the tuner is a Scott tube amplifier. In the foreground is the case containing my Collings OM-1 guitar, the guitar I used for lessons this week.
Kitty is surrounded by things that make music.

We've had animals that loved music, soft comforting tunes! Whenever my daughter calls, I'm instantly comforted by her kind voice:) Her hugs are worth even more! I love being surrounded by music or even, my grandchildren!

Littlies make me happy. The kids made me way happy today, One brought her friend in. Both were about 7.5. I let my student be a teacher to her young friend for a few minutes. Her friend learned to play Mary Had a Little Lamb in C-major.

@kobesbuddy I knew my student's friend was going to learn a song. She left knowing how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb with no problem. It was a "Music Party."

@TheHorse The student is doing excellent, already able to teach her friend:) We all need kindness, regardless of how our day is going! At times we just need a hug, to realize that someone actually cares:)

I would surround myself with "Furries". That's cats, kittens and furs to make teddy bears with. The fur would be mohair, alpaca, acrylic, and vintage real furs to recycle and have to profits go for taking care of the various critters in the area.
I have already surrounded myself with stuffed animals-all different sizes and kinds along with manufacturers. The ones that I dearly love are the Steiff bears that I found for practically nothing in thrift shops. The other ones that I favor are the ones that made their way back to me, their creator.
You still need to answer my message about the pipe cleaner.
