The Excavation for Our Home is Dug!

Goodness, when I saw the contractor digging our foundation, I was shocked! We have been waiting almost a year, to get this work done:) We purchased our lot in August, 2023.
Eric is the man that did this work, it took him a couple hours to do this. Now, Jay needs to order a load of sand, for the foundation to sit on. We finally have the ball rolling!
When Jay called me on the phone, I almost couldn't believe what he was saying. So, I drove over to our lot and sure enough, Eric was excavating for our new home!
God is good, I prayed for him to give us a hole, for our new house! Yup, that's what he gave us:)

They are bringing in a load of sand, to cover the wet ground. We've had more rain, we are hoping this will stop.

We were talking about a manufactured home. Then, Jay compared the prices. He found out, to build it ourselves will cost approximately 1/2 as much. That's the choice we've decided to make.

Jay mowed the grass this week, that was all we had completed. Now, the official building process has begun!

Waiting for this to be done, has cost us an arm and a leg. We've been paying a high rent amount and winter utilities!

Waiting almost a year, just to get this hole dug! We purchased the lot in Aug. 2023. They horsed around, say one thing and then, do something else.
