Rainy Auction Day

At least it's supposed to be warm. We might get some clearing later today. I hope so. I like the sun a lot more than the clouds.
I did get the venus flytrap finished last night. Then I started sewing my newest project together. It has several pieces to it. Looking at it so far I think I will add eyes to the next one. The pattern didn't call for them so I didn't. But that would be a good addition.

It's overcast here today and only going to be around 70 degrees. We could use some sunshine here but the weekend looks like more showers (ugh)

@Marilynda1225 It's all under roof so no problem. I was wishing I had gotten my hoodie out of the truck when the wind blew. But I was not going after it in that rain.

The heavy rain missed home thankfully. But it poured for more than an hour while we were at the auction.

I got my teddy bear making supplies yesterday. My neighbor and I had a ball with my going through the box (so did Freya with the empty box). I got mohair, imported acrylic faux fur, eyes, and the kit to make a bear. I had only ordered the pattern but got the whole kit. OH, and I received a quilter's marking pencil. It's going to be interesting to try it out since I have used Sharpie markers for years and years. I also can't forget that I ordered "T" head cotter pins, they're less apt to pull through the joint when I'm tightening them than the round heads. Anyway it brightened up my day yesterday. I'm going to the pharmacy and get my prescriptions and then come home and do some work on bears and go from there.
Where did you find a pattern for a Venus flytrap or did you design it yourself??? It has triggered interesting ideas in my crazy mind.....

Glad you finally got your order. Getting the kit is even better.
I found the pattern for this one on Pinterest for free. I am working on a different one that I ordered from Etsy. It was an instant download. I forgot to transfer it yesterday so I could get it printed out. That will be back up so I don't lose it.

It's raining lightly here. I always worry when it rains because sometimes it suddenly becomes so heavy that the water ends up entering the house. It's very troublesome and tiring to remove water from inside the house. Does it flood in your area when it rains?

Some areas flood here but where our house is we don't have a problem. The yard will sometimes have standing water in it. But the house stays dry
