Today I Purchased a Potted Fern

I went into a local grocery store, to purchase a couple food items. I saw some lovely potted ferns hanging just inside the main entrance. They look so beautiful!
So at the checkout, I said that I'd like to purchase one of those ferns. On my way out of the store, I selected the plant right on the end. It was a healthy shade of green and very full!
When Jay got back from Bay City I asked, "Did you see the lovely fern I bought?" He had walked right past it and but hadn't noticed. He looked out the side window and gave me a few words of approval.
Anyway, it kept blowing over in the light wind. So I hung it on the side porch, with a brad nail. It looks very pretty!
Once I get my camera connected to the desktop computer, I'll be able to take pictures again:)

I am allergic to flowers, but potted green plants are always safe. I love vines, also. We had ferns along the flower bed, in the front yard of our last home.

That is fantastic. I have a Boston fern growing wild in my yard. I want to transplant it really bad..but it is a lot of digging. I am waiting for a good rain.

I don't have indoor plants, only one. This fern will be outdoors, hanging over the porch.

A fern needs a healthy amount of sunshine, but not too much. They need to have moist soil, watered as needed.

We don't have any plants in our yard. So, I put a hanging fern on the outdoor porch, it looks nice:)
