I used my weighted blanket last night

I decided to use it because I hoped I would get a better sleep and also because it is cool. I think I did sleep a little better last night, but I had a long day..and that might have been part of it. I know getting to sleep wasn't that easy. Of course if the annoying cat hadn't woken me up, I would have slept longer. I went back to sleep awhile later..and had crazy dreams involving Thanksgiving dinner.

I think they are fiberglass beads. You can feel them alittle bit through the blanket. They feel like little pellets.

It was such an odd dream..with a strange menu. I don't recall seeing any turkey.

I used heaters since last night and slept perfectly well. I also added a light blanket to my quilt.

I had the ceiling fan on. The AC might have been on for a little while, but it is set high.

Well, glad the weighted blanket helped you sleep better.
Hubs and I slept in a hotel once that had weighted comforters. We felt trapped and had trouble turning and sleeping. 
My son’s girlfriend’s cats sleep on his chest, legs, back, back of legs, neck, etc. They wake him up, too. He can’t stand it! Naughty girls.

@anya12adwi I really don't like running mine. It us too expensive..I prefer fans,but you have to stay reasonably comfortable.

@snowy22315 my cat wants to eat at 2 a.m. which is annoying but the other night I felt him get on my bed but I must have fallen back to sleep after he briefly woke me up as when I woke up he was not there anymore.

I think it is good for people who tend to move around alot in their sleep like I do. My nephew who has anxiety issues uses one too. I think he thinks it is helpful.
