United States

I never knew this word: Peripatetic. It is me to a T. But not always by choice. Moving, moving, moving. Walking, walking, walking with no rest in my case and in fact thrown to the wind. It can also be one who likes to travel around. Did you know this word?

I think I heard it a long time back. Yet I didn't remember it/forgot its meaning. In some ways, we have also faced the same. Now, we are trying to get out of this situation yet it is easier said than done.

Woah, I know the Italian version of this word but it could be a false friend! Peripatetica, for example, is a lady who walks for work, also known as a streetwalker...

I have heard of this word but forgot its meaning. I recall "a peripatetic traveler", but not a "pathetic traveler"!

We were peripatetic as kids. We were always moving and never stayed anywhere long. My parents had wanderlust and after my dad survived being struck by lightning, it got worse.

No, this is the first time when I hear this word. But I searched for it in the dictionary and it's a word even in my native language.
