Galena who is a cat that is owned by Carrie Clark who lives in Salt Lake City Utah accidentally was inside a box that her owner sent back to Los Angeles California with shoes inside when an employee at the Amazon warehouse located the cat inside. Galena went missing on April 10 when her owner accidentally sent a package of shoes back to Amazon when Carrie thought that her cat would never return home. The good news is that an Amazon employee in Los Angeles named Brandy took the cat to a local veterinarian who found a microchip on Galena six days later. The veterinarian then texted Carrie to inform her the good news that her cat survived despite not having any food or drink for six days. Galena and Carrie were reunited the next day in Los Angeles which was a wonderful to see. Link is msn.com/en-us/news/wor...

Microchips are a wonderful way of finding lost pets. Luna has her own ever since she was a baby. Not that she needs it. She does not cross the fence to go out.

@Deepizzaguy I am so glad they were reunited. I have seen signs lately of missing cats and I hope they will have a happy ending too.

I am in agreement with you about the cat being silly since a cat in the house named Ramon likes to get into empty boxes inside the house.

Unbelievable! So glad Galena made it back safe and sound. Big shoutout to Brandy and the vet for going above and beyond! Happy reunion to Galena and Carrie! I bet Carrie would be more than careful now after this incident and we see here how important microchipping our furry friends.

I also hope that Carrie will be more careful dealing with handling packages in the future since cats are known for getting inside of boxes for resting.

Wow, that poor kitty...6 days without food or water. I guess that's a good lesson to all pet owners...make sure to get your pets chipped! And so nice of the warehouse worker to take the kitty to a vet.
