I have an appointment in the city today. Of course it would be the hottest day of the week.
. I had planned to stop at Walmart, but I am not if it is over 90 degrees or feels like it is. I can't stand that..and that parking lot is always crowded with no shade. I think I will pass on it. It should be cooler tomorrow. I will go to Food Lion..not the most exciting place..but I don't want to broil. What is up with you today?

You are on the water. It makes a difference. We have water here too of course, but the lake is about a half mile from here..and it is a bit lower than the land. The city is close to sea level.and has plenty of concrete. They get plenty of breeze though with tropical events

@snowy22315 Yes, there is almost always a breeze off the water here. I will certainly miss it back in CT when I want to sit on our patio and make believe the woods are water.

Just put a load of towels and wash rags away. I need to mop kitchen floor now.

Mine could use mopping, but it doesn't look too bad. What are you going to do with your Mississippi house when you move?

@snowy22315 Originally we were keeping it, but our son wants to move too now. We will put it on the market in September.

Hope it doesn't get too hot for your trip to the city today.
The morning started off chilly but it's heading into the high 80s by afternoon. I don't have much planned but I'm hoping to finish my book after I get a few things done around the house.

It was much nicer today. Yesterday I had the meeting at the rehab facility and got to see my husband.
