Disturbing Advancements In AI

AI has gotten so frighteningly realistic that it can do things like trick people into believing a celebrity is vouching for something they really have nothing to do with. Like a gaming app, for example, allegedly vouched for by Jimmy Donaldson, known to many as MrBeast. Personally, I think celebrities whose likenesses are used to scam people like that should press charges against anyone using their likenesses for such purposes.

You're absolutely right. The use of AI to create deceptive content, such as making it appear as though a celebrity is endorsing something they have no association with, is a concerning trend. It can mislead people and damage the reputations of those individuals. Pressing charges could be a way for celebrities to protect themselves and deter others from engaging in such deceptive practices. It highlights the importance of being cautious and critical of the content we encounter online.

I'm generally cautious with things I come across online anyway, and I have no problem with AI as a tool. It can be great, but like any tool I just hate to see it being abused. @annierose

@jnrdutton That's a wise approach. Like any tool, AI can be incredibly beneficial when used responsibly. It's unfortunate when it's misused or abused, as it can erode trust and cause harm.

I agree. AI has already been used for illegal activities. We all knew it was going to be a problem. Have a good day.
