More than a week i can hear person on phone while she can't hear me. What to do?

It is a mobile phone. I am not sure what went wrong but i can hear her talking to me but she can't hear me. Her phone is more than 5years old and she can't even hear notifications on whatsaap. She claims she can have normal conversations with others, just not me. I asked her to check her phone signal with her operater but she didn't. I feel stressful and said that to her, even lost my mind on Sunday, trying to connect the call 4times and then she borrowed other phone and it was good. She claims it is signal's fault. Yes,but on her phone, i feel. Today, she tried calling me, heard me a bit and on3rd time borrowed phone again. I told her she could warn me. I really don't enjoy this anymore...

If you can hear the other person but she can't hear you, the issue could be related to your phone's microphone. Do the others hear you?

Others can hear me.thank you for useful advice;I reset my phone while my mum changed her sim card. I hope it will be better. I am kind of sad I reset my phone cause everything is different now. Ah

It could also be due to a weak signal from the phone, you should try to record it and try playing it so you can find out the problem.

I followed instructions about microphone issues on youtube, reset my phone and it is a different setting, which I don't like much. My mum changed her sim card and I hope that is it. Thank you for your advice.

That might be the mouth piece, basically the microphone of the phone might be old or someone interfered with your settings of the microphone

I reset my microphone, rather phone, thank you. I hope it will be better from now on just, too bad I can't return my old phone back;it is all different now

One of the phones must have a problem. I experienced it once with my father. I can't hear his calls but I can hear other people's calls. Its just his. We just rebooted our phones a few times until it was okay.
