A bunch of GOP Congress members are at Trump's trial today

And that seems to be a bad strategy. Today there are like 12 members of Congress at Trump's hush money trial today including Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, and Andy Biggs. I heard Jake Tapper read them off but I don't remember everyone and I can't find a listing of them online just yet. Interestingly Boebert showed up for Trump's court case today but didn't for her son's several days ago. Anyway Trump's main defense is that he paid the money to Stormy Daniels in order to protect his family and it wasn't about the 2016 election. None of Trump's family members have shown up to support him except Eric and Lara Trump. Not Don Jr. Not Ivanka. Not Jared. Not Tiffany. Not Melania. So who is he calling to show up to show support? Republican politicians! The family he supposedly cares so much about won't show up but GOP politicians (dressed like him) do. Its a bad look.

I'm from the Philippines, and I am not really aware with what's going on with Trump right now. I think it is pretty understandable that his family wouldn't show considering that his primary goal is to protect them. Letting them show up would make them vulnerable. Also, I think the people who are more involved in the case (those who are dressed like him) are far more material than his family since they were there when they were running the joint.
