I overslept!

This morning I woke up and looked at my watch and it was Ten to ten! 
I got up quick, but not too quick because I didn't want to send my head into a spin!
I had to put away all my art materials that were still on the dining room table after yesterday's painting session. Then I needed to put my prawns out to thaw ready for tonight's dinner. I found them in the other freezer than usual because Mum's been defrosting the freezer that they are usually in. Today I'm using raw prawns so I've got to make sure I cook them thoroughly first.
I wasn't going to go down town shopping today because my weather app said that it was supposed to be raining, but when I got up it looked fine. If I'd have managed to get up earlier I could have still gone!
Anyway I stayed home and did stuff on my tablet and watched some telly. I've just had my lunch now and we're watching The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross on Sky Arts.

@sharonelton Lazy girl!!!I arose from slumber at 6.30 because we were expecting a delivery from IKEA - a new sofa bed for our small sitting room. It was to arrive sometime between 7 am and 7 pm - not very helpful, and a lot of furniture had to be rearranged first. They arrived at 9.30 and it took me an hour to assemble it and I’m extremely happy with the end product. I actually followed all the instructions to the letter for once. Now I’m tired.

@sharonelton Early morning is the best time of day, especially in the summer with birdsong, blue skies and blood red geraniums nodding their heads at me. And freshly brewed coffee. And a Psalm.

@xFiacre That might be true, but that doesn't mean I can get up that early! Maybe when I've got my own place in Cardiff I'll have more of an incentive to get up earlier!

I'm glad you cleaned at least part of your room.
I've been meaning to move some of my stuff in my bedroom so I can get to my plug sockets, but I never seem to get round to it.

Oh, he's very good, but he does oil painting.
I remember watching Take Hart when I was younger, with Tony Hart and Morph.
There are plenty of my drawings and paintings on here.

It can't tell for sure,you might be caught in the rain,if you got up earlier and went shopping.

But I usually set off about 10:30am - 10:45am, and any rain there might have been had gone off by then.
