Still tickled pink about my new broadband. It poured down rain last night and my satellite system would likely have been off or struggling. It was such a good feeling knowing I didn't have to worry about that withe the broadband This seriously was one of the best things to happen to me in years.

I’m glad it’s working for you. I remember my oldest son had satellite TV at one point some years ago. It was always acting wacky due to weather.

@MarieCoyle What was bugging me was during these full leaf times the barest hint of a breeze would make it go into a hissy fit. So glad I don't have to worry about that now.

@snowy22315 I remember him grumbling about it, going outside during a blizzard to clean off the satellite dish! Not fun is right!

I remember that my mother in law always had problems when it rained with her satellite.

It is weird here..it sometimes would tolerate rain very well, but go off with the slightest breeze. Last night's storm I am sure would have overwhelmed it.

@snowy22315 We never had satellite, but I have heard people complaining during rainy days here.

We used to have trouble with our dish when we got a light snow, especially if it was heavy and lingered on the dish itself, we'd get no reception.

Snow doesn't seem to bother it, but of course we have hardly had any the past couple of years. It is the breeze this time of the year that really seems to mess with it, leaves and or branches blow in front of the dish it seems. However, that should all be a things of the past!!

What a pleasure not to have to worry about it going out when the weather is bad.

Yes, I was thrilled not to have to worry about it in the pouring rain.

I'm so happy for you. We would never go back to satellite. We like our cable...but it's too expensive. Have a good day.
