We cannot prepare the future for our youth, but we can certainly prepare our youth for the future. I have been in the training faculty for youth groups and this is my assessment.

Hi ssh123! I do agree with that assessment. We can never tell what the future may be, there will always be something that will come up and somehow ruin the plans. However, when we train the youth, build their character and teach/educate them so they will have strong foundation in their life..then we will somehow know that we are making this youth to be a productive member of the society and of humanity as a whole. Take care and God bless!

Very aptly said. If we expect the government, or school or the society to reform the youth or guide the youth in right direction, we would be falling into elementary error or logic. Therefore, as you said it is the parents who should take care of their children, guide them particularly so after they reach 12 till the age they find a suitable job. The parents need not perform herculian taks for this, but just be there to appreciate, give here and there a piece of advice and what is important overseeing the transformation of youth into adulthood.
