February is about to end. Everyone is struggling to earn more to get included in the payout. And I am one the is cliff-hanging with a little about a dollar more to earn. I am afraid not to earn the amount in two days and miss payout again, for the fourth month, straight. How about you my dear mylot friends, have you reached the minimum earnings as of today to be in this month's payout? Or are you still like me who's struggling and experiencing a cliff-hanging moment? I hope we all can do it to payout, we all just have to help each other...

I must say that this is the first month that I doubt I'll reach payout by the end of the month. I'm very close but I've been so busy this month with my Social Security disability case and vegetable seed-starting. I'm an extremely avid gardener and it's time to start some seeds indoors for transplanting outside once we've passed our last freeze date. With it still being very cold and below freezing most nights, the heat is on quite a bit and it dries out my little seedlings if I'm not constantly monitoring them so I've been pretty busy. With my husband getting laid off in December, I've also been really busy trying to get my new business' website finished so that's also taken time away from myLot. I've been pretty stressed and depressed for most of the month and haven't really had the mental energy to post as often as I normally do. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to feel about not reaching payout. It's certainly not a lot of money and we don't depend on it for survival (I let it build up for 'emergencies'), but it's nice to know that it grows each month. I've worked from the age of 14 until I couldn't work any 'normal' type job anymore. I always loved working and earning my own money. The money I earn here at myLot makes me feel like I'm contributing something, even if it is a pittance compared to our bills each month! I MIGHT make it if I post like I normally do, spending a couple of hours here instead of only 10 or 20 minutes. You should try and do your best... if you only have a dollar to go, I'd suggest responding to others' discussions like crazy, if you can. This is the first time I've experienced being so close to payout, yet knowing that I might not make it, so I think I know a bit of how you're feeling. All I can tell you is to go for it! Post post post! Good luck to you, neil!

Thank you, neil, for the kind words and the BR! Your discussions are always interesting so, when I have an email telling me that you've posted something, I always check it out. (I didn't make payout, by the way... only 45 cents short! I'm okay with it, though... next month will be a hoot!) Bodysmurf, the money does roll over each month but, if you've reached payout, when the time comes for myLot to make payments (typically before the 15th of the following month), whatever amount you made by the end of the month you reached payout will be sent to your paypal account automatically. It doesn't accumulate here once you've earned $10.00 or more. Here's wishing us all payout next month!

To the person who asked the question about rollover: The answer is yes, yes, yes! This is the nice thing about mylot, you don't have to start at zero, and make the money all over again...that is to say, unless you do make payout. Then you WILL start at zero. But by then, you should know how to get back up there.

Hi, friend. Foremost, I have to say that I won't be able to make payout this month either. My schedule's been so hectic this month because of workload; aside from the fact that I still don't have my own computer at home as I've previously mentioned in other discussions here. On the average, I only get to respond to about 3 to 5 discussions each day which is very meager. In fact, my earnings counter only shows 1.25 dollars at present. Hopefully, I'll try my best to make it next month but certainly, I will have to do much and exert much efforts. I definitely need to earn as much funds as I could specially now that the global financial crisis is affecting us. The company I'm working with as a financial analyst for more than 4 years now is currently facing difficulties and is in the process of dissolution. Just yesterday, our notice of retrenchment have been sent to us and effective March 31, I will be one of many employees who will be displaced from our jobs. Although there is a possibility that the buyer of the company will absorb us as new employees, it's still indefinite as of now. Anyway, I've received my first payout from mylot just last week after being here for a couple of years, if my memory serves me right. And I couldn't discount the fact that I really earned from here. But if I'm here just for the earnings, I guess it would be insane to wait for 2 years before reaching payout and receiving about 50 dollars. Personally, I enjoy being here; and I consider mylot so beneficial. Aside from the extra money, I love sharing my views with others, interacting with people of various cultures, and being able to practice and polish my English. I enjoyed responding to your discussion, 'til next post!

I've been here 2 months I think...I'm less than a dollar from payout. If I make it, I make it. If I don't, I don't. It's not like it's going to revolutionize my life so I just don't stress over it. Good look though with your quest to make it off that cliff though.

We are on the same status Katie. I'm $0.58 short to be exact. I think I can manage that over today. I just don't want to wait for another month in order to get it!

That's good to hear from your KatieDidit. See, you are only two months here and you are surely be getting your first payment. I got my first payment on my third month here, a bit long for me. But that is fine with starters like you now...

Do they roll over the money we make each month if we don't reach the goal? I just started on this site last week. I'm having a great time doing this. I have just gone over a dollar today and feel rich.

Welcome to mylot, sysdexlicwriter. Yes that's true, anything we earned today will remain be ours. If we can't get the minimum earnings this month, it will be added in the following month's earnings. This will remain ours until we reach the minimum, even if we get in the the third or fourth month, and so on. So keep posting and continue to be rich.

This is the first time I have ever been on a live blog. This is so much fun. The money is an added bonus. The variety of subjects has gotten me writing again and the writer's block I was experiencing has turned into a large amount of ideas to write on. I love it. Who would have ever thought that I would be paid for my thoughts.

Well, I was able to make it, and hope that you were as well. I was not near as busy in here towards the end of the month as I was the first of the month so I was not much over $10 myself. But I know a lot of it is up to us. And if you ended up just missing it you know you will have it now in March. So wishing you the Best, and see you around here in myLot.

I know this month I would not be reaching the minimum payout. I just got one this month and my balance is just starting to go up and has not even reach the 50% mark so I guess I would do better next month so I can have a hefty payout on April 15. Maybe I will experience that feeling next month about the same time like this one.

Hi neildc. I will not be making payout this month on myLot. I've been so busy working and getting things done around the house, I simply haven't had time to devote to myLot. I didn't make payout last month either. But that is okay. I figure the amounts I'm earning will eventually add up to the minimum payout. I wish you luck in reaching your payout.

I am more than 3 dollars away from the payout. Ha!ha!ha! But that does not really bother me. I've not been reaching the payout for 2 months already as I have been so busy.I used to get up to near $20 or even more during the first months of my stay here but now my earnings are very low because I could not stay as active as before. It is okay. That does not harass me as I'm just enjoying this site. I'm sure that next month I could get more than the minimum anyway. I hope you could reach the payout my friend.

Hi Tamara, Thanks for being my number one supported/responder in most if not all of my discussions. You are truly one of my best friend here on mylot. That's right, if we can't make it this month, find our luck next month. But I think it's about time to earn my payout this month, I already been missing payout for the last four or five months now. I hope I can survive hanging this cliff this month. Wish me luck, Tamara. Neil

Hey, haha. I'm pretty sure I'm NOT going to make it, considering, I just started today. I've replyed to a total of 3 conversations including this one, which... well, I don't know what that equals to, but it's probably not much. At least having a cliff-hanging moment means you're ALMOST there. I just plain don't have anything. Feel better, you're better off than me. (:
