How is your neighborhood lately?

I have noticed lately that there has been alot of houses in my neighborhood going up for sale and fast. I then noticed these same houses being filled just as fast as they were put up for sale. The thing that has me concerned is the literal rise of crime lately. Peoples cars have been broken into, stores have been robbed and people are having their garages and so forth broken into. So my question is how is your neighborhood lately?

It has been scary since I live in one of the bad sides of town but I have lived hear for a long time. Today around one hour ago there was a driveby four house down my street and I was so scared because my mom and my sister are visiting me for few weeks and they got home 30 minutes before that hapend. My mom went streight to bed and so did my sister and my daughter. It was around 1am when that hapend and normally when they come over my mom and I will talk for 2 or 3 hours before she lives to take a nap.
I think it has been 4 years ago when they found a body couple of block away form my house and it was a little girl that lived in the same house were there was a driveby today. The moms boyfrind violeted her and killed her and after few months he gave him self in I guess he felt bad I don't know. I have also hear on the news of many similar things that have happend around my neighbordhood and it is scary.

Mine very good because we all respect each other by using one neighborhood principle "We are the King in our own Kingdom". We're living in the village and the living cost isn't high here. Some get their food from their own backyard. So we still manage to live on despite the recession period. Crime rate is still almost zero too. There was cases of house break in before and it was done by outsider. Since we managed to recognize him, he fled. Well, I hope he never come back.
It's sad to hear about your neighbours. Hopefully everything will be alright soon.
