i had a relationship with this certain person. and last night it was the last time that i held her hand. It breaks my heart seeing her walking away from me. I dunno but maybe its t9ime for me to move on and focus on my carreer.

I don't really understand. If you still feel for her and she still hold hands with you, meaning most probably she too still feels for you, why is it the hy must you two separate?

Its my decision to let go of her, because i cant give her the time, the effort, the care teh everything in a relationship. I dont want to hurt her anymore. I know in my heart that i love her, but love is not enough to work on relationship.

What if letting her go is going to hurt her more than keeping the relationship but with you being "busy"? Maybe she is "the woman behind the man" that sort of lady, who is willing to be around when you need her and yet not disturb you when you need to focus on your work? Did you ask her opinion by being very honest to her about what you can give and what you cannot. I think you should let her decide for herself if she wants to go separate because of what you can't give.

Precisely, you are right. It hurts to say goodbye to the person you once loved and became part of your life. On my part, I have a new bf now, but I can say it hurts still that I let go and hurt my fiancee's feelings. It hurts me that I have to break his heart and our plans. It hurts that I had to choose to start anew than continuing a relationship that is supposed to lead into marriage.

sometime we have to let go if we know that it is not working anymore. it might hurt but i think it realy depends on how are we going to handle things up.

yes it is hard to let someone go, but from there you should analyze the situation no matter how much it hurts you so that you learn from this experience... focusing on your career is a good thing but even in that don't get so caught up with you career that you block out that next girl in front of you... let this experience make you stronger...

thanks man.. when i let go of her, i felt so hurted... but i have no choice because i knopw its for her own good. i want her to be happy in a relationship and i know i cant give it to her..

I know how you feel and I know it's the little things you remember about the person like the way their hand felt in yours or the way they kissed you and stupid things that make you upset.

yes as i remember everything about our past. Its the only thing thats left for us. though sometimes it really upsetting, nothing much to do but to move on.

it really hurts to say goodbye, whEn we feel that we haven't told them how much we love them. Especially to someone isn't aware you're saying goodbye and yet remain sensitive

yes. and even sometimes you cried inside not knowing by them that your hurting to. sometimes they will say that its easy to let go,but they dont know how hard it is just saying the word goodbye, esp if u want someone so bad

yes dear you are right.its really hurt and its hurt more when you are going apart from your dearest one.But we have to be very strong,Nothing is permanent here..
