Books = Best Friend?

yes, it is true for me, Books are best friends for me, they do not demand anything, they do not have complaints as well.
Is this statement true for you?

hi my friend! I am so glad to meet a person here, who also loves to read books just like me, and doesn't think they are boring or a waste of time. Yes, for me books are also my best friends, except the real one, and i spend a lot of my spare and study time for them, because I really love to read. the books are my door to other different worlds and countries,, they help me to travel all over the world and I read them with such a pleasure. 
Wow, how happy i am, about that, that there is at least one person here, who confess, that he loves to read

even I feel good to know that there are people who love reading. If I start saying that Books are the reason we are on line that is not incorrect. We learn many things primarily from books, they are the big primary source of information. Now a days internet is very popular and in use by most of us otherwise its book , a genuine source of information and best friends.

you are welcome. yeah the books are the primary source of information, but many of us forget about them, when they sit in front of that thing called "computer" and there are less people nowadays who still read books every day or at least 3-4 times a week!

You are absolutely right dear. They books are your best friend. The book help us as our best friend does. It doesn't harm us. They are good source of knowledge. Like our best friends a book also teaches us lesson at every moment of our life.

Hi Ajay, I love books and for me they are more than friends almost like family lol...I have to have at least 2 or 3 books to read at a time and a few magazines too...I never fail to buy some book or the other when i go out shopping.as you rightly said they are our undemanding companions always there for you...all the best

Yes ajay, I like to read books and the statement you said is very true, but if the book don't have complaints and demands then they can't speak or share anything you also, so friends are friends and books are books no one can take place of other. Both are special, precious and important on their place for us.

Correct Vishal but there are already people around me with their demand and complaints so books are best as they do not do that.

yes, definitely. especially then i am in a bad mood, because i then prefer to be alone rather than hurt others' feeling. and books really can be a good friend on times like that.

It is good to hear that someone else thinks like this too, because I always feel that after I have finished a good book it's like saying goodbye to a close friend. I find books are great companions, you have some quality time together, just you and your book and you can close the rest of the world out. As soon as I've read the last page I sigh heavily knowing that I have to say goodbye to that book and start a new one, it's like breaking one relationship with a book, and starting all over again. It's a great analogy.
