My doctor told me to lose weight!

I know I am morbidly obese but I had to see the doctor for another reason! I have swelling in my lower legs and reddness.So he told me all of this is do to me being so over wieght! Standing on my feet all day doesn't help either! I have had a weight problem all my life! I can take it off but keeping it off is another thing which I never have be able to conquer yet! So easier said then done! I also have to wear support stockings! Fine with me! I even had to give blood to be tested for diabites,a thyroid problem and other things. So right now I am not a happy camper!

Hi bluepacker, how many times have you posted about needing to lose weight but don't do anything about it? You don't need to diet as that won't work but start by cutting out a lot of the junk you eat and the soda you drink. Surely it's better to make one positive change which will reduce your chance of diabetes but you always have an excuse.

I don't have diabities and I don't drink alot od soda. Right now I am in denial that it would be good to lose weight. Now I have infection in a place I rather not mention which should bnot happen if I lose weight. I have gotten to the piont I will not post anything on my weight problem again. I should of never done it in the first place! I was looking for sympathy and understanding. Got none of that. I am a big f#cking complainer who doesn't like to be told to do things and has big f*cking trouble taking critizm. Especially when it good stuff. I don't want to work at this. I want it be easy. I don't want to worry about so I can worry about stuff that is needed to be woried about. I know I make no sense and don't care. You are seeing my true colors. I am a fat #ss lazy piece of sh** who wants to take easy street! To do what I need to do is a whole mentel and pyshical transfermation which I don't care to do. It is to hard of work and I'm not willing to do the work! End of story!

I am sorry to hear that. I also find it hard to lose weight. But just remember if you make small changes they can lead to big changes. Mainly for your health. There are lots of people that care about you and want to see your success. Hang in there you can do it. Have a good weekend.

Life sucks and I wish it was easier! I know I can't do this alone. I have friends who will help. They are better and cheaper then the therapist I've seen in the past! Food is comfort and a friend. I know losing weight will be very hard! I lose paitence easily and go through bouts of feeling deprived! Life sucks!

the fact is that taking off the weight is bad, but you know you can never eat like you did before. You have to decide to change your life. Its not a "diet" its a life style. (says she who has lost 50 lbs but needs to lose another 75)

I know that it has to be a life style chage and if I try it will be very hard! Food is comfort and a friend to me! If I do lose weight I don't want to lose alot of weight. Anyway this really sucks and I wish it was easy! Life gets harder and harder! Life sucks!

I bet it's scary! I found out I had high cholestral a few years ago but have it under control just by losing some weight and eating differently. I hope you are able at some point to start on a healthier way of eating....and I lost weight by not dieting....I just used portion control! It really worked for me.

Food is so much of a comfort and a friend! It is going to be very hard for me to lose weight! I know I should do it but I really don't want to lose alot! Keeping it off has never worked! That is harder to do then lose it! I did the support stckings and I wore the yesterday. They will help my legs for sure.

Count the calories as you eat. It’s a good idea to have an idea of the calories that most food items have. If it is a packed thing then the label is sure to have the calories that the substance has.
