More than Happiness?

I had a lengthy discussion with a bosom friend lately. He has spend countless money going for courses to find himself psychologically. He tells about an unfinished journey;the need to move out of his 'time-centred' self into psychological time where emerging from it he will be shorn of his baggages of regret to become the real 'him' To me, all this hocus pocus is not relational in the practicality of life. To me, we seek ultimate happiness that only God can provide. There is really nothing more than that.
