Would a picture make a difference?

Hey fellow friends, How goes it? Well I just have a really quick question. Only because I came across an article about the same topic on a website that pays for views and only views. If I put up pictures of myself, of me looking pretty? Would that increase my views? Would you click on the article and view the subject matter or just open it to check the picture?
