I have kept you up on us, but not on Bob Olson (@Webeishere).
Yesterday his daughter posted this:
So best news for dad. After all the doom and gloom stage 4 no cure talking we got the results. And prayers have worked there is no more spread of dads cancer. The doc says this was best case news. It is stage 4 but it's very treatable and they hope to have it gone in 6 months. Hes still got a long road ahead but it is great news for sure.
I will be glad when my Bob is well enough that we can travel. You can bet we will be going to Minnesota.
It is good to read good news.
Mandy says NO chemo or more surgery but a medicine called keytruda. I am gonna have to look that up. I hope he does not need radiation.

It did turn out that surgery was actually his best choice. And radiation to the area of the brain tumor. They will remove part of his lung in just over a week. He seems to be back to his ornery self. They are letting him drive some now.

That is interesting that he can drive some now. What does that mean drive some? Where can he go when he drives and are there certain times of the day that he can drive? Do they predict that with all that he will recover and live to a ripe old age?

The great thing is that he has a lot of friends and family and a great bond with his grandkids. They help him out with driving and errands and such.

There is only so much we can say about ourself until we begin to sound selfish and like we do not care about others. I had promised updates about him and had neglected the reports in my busy-ness.

I am sure he likes hearing from everyone. He has lots of friends and family, but he also was happy I shared here.
