A New Challenge, Teaching Tagalog

My Jetlag is gone and I am preparing for the new challenge to come this week. I will be teaching Tagalog language to a German. I have to do it in German to Tagalog language.
Usually, Tagalog is taught with an English language to let the "student" understand the lesson but I suppose, the German is comfortable that I will teach him in his mother language.
So you see, I am back again with my German lifestyle but this time, with a change. I will no longer work as a massage therapist because my hands are stiff, tingling and sometimes painful. It's time for me to have another part time income.
So what do you think? Do you want to learn a new language?

As what I know his biological parents are Filipinos. He was adopted by the Germans when he was a baby and he has now connected with his Filipino relatives but there is a language barrier. That is the reason why he wants to learn Tagalog @MALUSE

I see @just4him. dir means you in that sentence "Wie geht es dir?, means How do you do or how are you? Ihnen is the formal use of you. If you are not close to that person or doesn't know him personally, a person in the office or so. Still, the meaning of the sentence is the same.

Yes, It is nice to become a private tutor. It is fun. Of course I did a lot of research besides that, I was taught how to teach when I was in college ages ago @rsa101. Everyone has its own reason why they learn another language. My "student" wants to learn Tagalog because he wants to communicate with his biological ancestors in the Philippines.

Well at least, being a tutor of Tagalog is something not so taxing with you. I guess, you got your hands stiff and tingling and painful , from massaging many people.
I think you need to see your rheumatologist about it. I also think you lack B1 6 12.

I think it's hard to learn German. I like to learn Spanish using Duolingo

That is good @simone10. We are always learning, aren't we? I had to take 2 years Spanish course when I was in college. It was compulsory at that time in the Philippines. I still remember some words and some sentences because Filipino language has a lot of Spanish words.

I love learning new languages, teaching languages is a great part time
