Do you feel hungry when you watch a cooking show?

... I do, no matter if I have just eaten, when I see someone cooking different dishes that look delicious I always feel hungry, and I'm not a sweet tooth, if I was I would be lost Yesterday I was watching a cooking show after dinner and I ended up in the kitchen looking for something to eat, I know I didn't need to eat more but my stomach or brain or both, I don't know, were telling me that I was still hungry. I enjoy trying new recipes and these shows are great for finding new recipes but I think I need to stop watching them, otherwise, I will gain some weight I wonder if this happens to you too? Picture of a salad I ate in Spain.

I usually do not watch a show when I am hungry so that it won't affect me and I can make a better judgement on the recipe and dish that they are making.

@LadyDuck Our eyes communicate with the brain that tells the stomach to be hungry, it must be to see if we eat what we are seeing

Imagine how I feel, because I am a sweet tooth! I also enjoy watching those cooking shows, they give me ideas about new dishes to try. This salad you had in Spain looks delicious.

It can happen to me sometimes. Most of the time food doesn't bother me, but sometimes it's all I need to trigger my brain.

I don't watch cooking shows often, but when I do, I watch them with a critical eye, wondering if I would like it, if I would make it, and then don't do either. I'm sorry you feel hungry watching the shows.

Those chefs make their dishes look sooooo delicious, don't they? I may get hungry, but only for what they made and showed on tv .

Yes, what they do looks so delicious that I feel the need to eat something, not only what they cook.

I don't like cooking at all but I always get inspired by cookery books and their colourful photos. The inspiration never lasts long though.
