The Inner child, our soul, and human life

Be soullike in your life, not humanlike

The psychologist, Carl Gustav Jung (1875 to 1961 ) is said to have created the idea that we all have an inner child within ourselves. We all have a childlike innocence within us. This has nothing to do with us once being a child though, in this life. It relates to our being a child of God. "You were born from the rays of God’s Majesty … return to the root of the root of your own soul.” The renowned 13th-century Persian poet Rumi, said this. The root of the root of anything is its insertion point in God, for all things begin in God. Return to God to find yourself in him then. We are a child of God's, and we should respect him as our father, creator, and mentor, in this life. We never have a lost inner child within us, as it is more we, who become lost, as in truth, we are our soul, and this real self always remains unlost to itself, and to God. We are lost to our soul, and to God, and to our inner child, when we try to be our outer self, of mind, and body alone. We must not abandon our soul, but live from it to live a full life, alive spiritually, and so carry this living through love, to our outer self, mind, and body too. Stay in touch with your soul, and embrace the child of God's that you are. Stop binding up yourself to your mind, and connect to the openness of your heart, which will then allow your inner self, and your inner child, or your soul, to live through your body, and mind self too, and not be kept locked away in a frozen heart instead. Happiness in life comes from living a life of loving, or of allowing our inner child to love through us, and our life. Only innocence loves fully, and unrestricted. Be your inner soul, live the spiritual life. "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." So said the French philosopher, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, (1881 to 1955), and I feel he is pretty right there in what he said. We are souls, living here for God, not just humans living here only for ourselves. I agree that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. We need to get baptized with the Holy Spirit of God for our spirit to be regenerated. Then we can be able to fully live for God .

Yes, without God, without being connected to the Holy Spirit, we cannot live fully for God, and nor can we live a full life here for ourselves here either. We must live hand in hand with God, or we live a wasted life, never being the person that God created us to be.

@mildredtabitha We are all created by God, and connected to God, via our spark of God in us, our soul. God further ignites our spark with his Holy Spirit, to help us to live a love-filled and a God-filled life here. We cannot lose God; we can only forget him, disconnect from him, or try to ignore him, and yet, he will always not give up on us, and try to find a way for his love, and his spirit, to still enter and work through us.

@innertalks I have a question. Can someone loose the Holy Spirit?

There has to be love in life to live and true love is always innocent like a child.

Yes, a selfish, wanting love can never be a true love, which is unconditional, and without wants, or conditions. A child usually is more innocently pure in its loving.

@innertalks A child does love innocently but recognizes a pretender very fast.

@innertalks This happens because innocent people don't understand the complications of life.

I always believe that God still considers me to be His child. Since I do not have my biological parents anymore, he is my father for life now.

Yes, God could be said to be our original father, and our forever father too. We feel him closer when we lose our parents here too, as he steps into his fatherly role to comfort us more with his presence then too.

Yes, it is far better to try to live for God, than just to live for ourselves.

We are all made up of three parts - body, mind, and soul. We need to live for God in each part of our life.

We also have Jesus Christ living in us, and access to his spirit too, via our hearts. Our hearts seem to be able to connect to all of the three parts that you mentioned, our body, mind, and our soul. Our mind reasons, but our heart feels. Our heart is the mother of our emotions, and our love, and God is the father of the love in us too. When we connect our heart to God truly, we love as God loves then too.

I once saw myself (vision/flash/mindprojection) a black bundle, somewhere moving under the navel of a huge Buddha-like figurine and some voice immediately told me that it was me--- the black bundle --restless under the navel is my physical being and the huge figurine sitting in deep meditation as an observer is my Higher Self.

Yes, our higher self, or our soul, is always far greater than who we think that we are from our mind, or body self. We are spiritual beings, having a human experience, not a physical being, having an occasional spiritual tryst with our soul. We are soul. That is who we really are.

@apsmine9 Yes, we are bigger than our problems ever are. We are even bigger than what our life here is too. We should not allow ourselves to be overcome by our issues here.

Children tend to retain their innocence, and unselfishness, till they are about three years old. Slowly, the ways of the world overwhelm them. Their exposure to the world changes their thought process which gradually gets corrupted. This is more for survival. They need to adapt to a hostile adult world. Sadly, this cycle has been repeating itself over generations, and we seem to be stuck in it. We are unable to come out of this vicious cycle. But we should never lose hope. When will the tide turn? Never say never!

Yes, the heart seems to freeze over from the colder thoughts of its mind. These cold thoughts then stop us from loving, and try to keep us disconnected from love, and its ways, and ideas, for our lives.

@Shiva49 Yes, those that seem to always shine their love upon us, when despite circumstances, they are always generous in affection, and real warmness of spirit, are always remembered for the way that they touched our lives with this love.

@innertalks Yes, love is pushed to the background due to the hostile environments we have to deal with. The few who manage to shine the light of love are fondly remembered.
