Then he would have taken a few minutes to brag about his superior military skills and talk about some of the dumbest people he's ever met. Attached to it was this question, "But who's going to direct it?" After that, in bold red typeface was, "Mr., we could use a man like Stanley Kramer again." Or Billy Wilder. Because Billy could have done a great job with it, too.
