Last day... everything comes to an end.

Good afternoon from this side of the planet. It's bright sunny hot day and there is a prediction of heat waves here. So, better to stay safe and cool indoors.
Well, my travel and vacation comes to an end. Can't believe that one month of my summer vacation is over. We had a week long family vacation in Bangkok and Phuket. And then we travelled to my mom's place. Spent nine days there, attended a wedding and two birthday parties. Then I came to my in law's place to spend some time with my mom in law. And did attend a silver jubilee wedding anniversary and 85th birthday party of my husband's aunt .
It was all the fun and full of social events.
Now the vacation comes to an end. I travel back to my sweet home tomorrow morning. I have a morning flight to catch and I should be home by late afternoon or evening. I am sad to depart from all friends and family, whom I won't be able to meet till another vacation. But I am also happy to go back to my sweet home, especially looking forward to my garden and my comfy bed.

It's my last day here. My sister in law will be visiting us in some time and she will stay here for dinner.
I still have another month left for summer vacation. I plan to spend that at home, relaxing, deep cleaning and some arrangements around the house. There is a plan to revamp my garden and get a few pending art orders completed. I also plan to be more active online.
I will start my afternoon therapy sessions from second week of May.

Yes, one more month to go. The school reopens in June after two months of summer vacation. Can't believe that one month is already over. One month would also pass soon with all cleaning and preparations for a new academic year. I have to do a lot for the coming academic year.

Wow ! Bangkok and Phuket sound fantastic ! So many events that you attended.
I hope the venues were air conditioned.
Heat wave in Bangalore was earlier something that nobody would even guess.
Yet now it has got to that point !
Still one good month to go !
I have seen some revival in Mylot activities, thanks to some off days and otherwise after a dip due to multiple factors.

Yes and there was CarolDM with cats Dude and one more.
Coral (Sojourner) quit some time last year.
So yes, we have lesser active people here but interesting discussions still come up at times.

Yes, it was a tight schedule with so many social events and travel. Was definitely tiring too. But quite exciting. A good break from our work life. All the venues were air conditioned.
It seems that Bangalore temperature has dropped a few degrees. I will reach there by today afternoon. Let's see. Waiting at airport now.
It's good if the activities are picking up here. Many active members are not seen these days.

Yes, things good or bad have to come to an end. It was fun and exciting. Now, life has to go back to it's usual track. Looking forward to my comfy bed tonight..I have been away from home for almost three weeks.

Yes, it did. Here in India, most people prefer to get married during this season. Most auspicious dates fall in April to June and few in November and December. Very few in January and February. People prefer summer weddings so that more friends and family can attend. Children are free from exams during this time.

@just4him Thank you Valerie. Today I spent few hours doing the lesson plans. Glad that I could get started at least. I was busy with lesson plan, some cleaning and catching up with all the sleep. Now it is night time. I am mylotting from my bed

It was indeed great. Despite so much of packed schedule and heat, things went smoothly. I am on the airport. Would board the flight in an hour. Can't wait to go back home. Home sweet home
