I stayed up late last night to watch it because I am a politics junkie and the past 2 years have been very funny. Joe Biden and the comedian Colin Jost didn't start speaking until after 10 pm. (so much for "Sleepy Joe") I thought Biden did a great job. He was funny. He tore up Trump. He made the point that a free and fair press is essential for our democracy. He clearly wasn't sleepy, confused, or whatever the GOP likes to describe him as these days. Colin Jost? Meh. He had many funny lines but his delivery was off and his wait time for laughter/applause was uncomfortable. Biden's best burn line was when he said that age was the only thing he had in common with Trump. "My vice president actually endorses me."
