It is very odd for a 10 foot alligator to wander on the runway at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa Florida and find a place to rest under the wheels of an airplane that caused the officials of the base to call officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to use their skills to remove the alligator away from the runway. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation and Commission officials were able to remove the alligator and relocate the alligator to the Hillsborough River. Why did the alligator wander into an U S Air Force station is anyone's guess. Link is upi.com/3671713895483 via @upi

Well, the FFand WC and C needed something to do. Alligators do occasionally get in some weird spots.

That is really true that alligators get themselves into some nasty places.

Animals on runways can be a big problem. In our outback areas, kangaroos and cattle sometimes settle on the runways.

You are right about animals taking over the streets around here since they want a place to cool off from the heat.

So the alligator wanted to enlist and probably thought how rude when he was removed from there,

Maybe that was the only shady place on the tarmac, a risk though, as he could have been run over. A good end to an unusual story. It was good the alligator was spotted, before the plane took off.

That is what I am thinking that the alligator needed someplace to cool off.
