Day 105 – Worship Leviticus 17:1 JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which JEHOVAH has commanded, saying: 3 Whatever man of the house of Israel who kills an ox, lamb, or goat in the camp, or kills it outside the camp, 4 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting to offer an offering to JEHOVAH before the tabernacle of JEHOVAH, the guilt of bloodshed will be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and he will be cut off from among his people, 5 to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices they offer in the open field, to JEHOVAH at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to the priest, and offer them as peace offerings to JEHOVAH. 6 The priest will sprinkle the blood on the altar of JEHOVAH at the door of the tabernacle of meeting and burn the fat for a sweet aroma to JEHOVAH. 7 They will no longer offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This will be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.’ 8 “Also you will say to them, ‘Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, offers a burnt offering or sacrifice, 9 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it to JEHOVAH, that man will be cut off from among his people. 10 Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, eats any blood, I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ 12 “Therefore, I said to the children of Israel, ‘No one among you will eat blood, nor will any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.’ 13 Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he will pour out its blood and cover it with dust; 14 for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore, I said to the children of Israel, ‘You will not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it will be cut off.' 15 Every person who eats what died naturally or what was torn by beasts, whether he is a native of your own country or a stranger, he will both wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening. Then he will be clean. 16 If he does not wash them or bathe his body, then he will bear his guilt.” God’s name: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Yeshuwa – Jesus God’s character: Life Many people will tell you they don’t need to go to church because they can worship anywhere, even an open field. They also tell you they don’t like organized religion because they always ask for money. JEHOVAH told the people they weren’t to kill their sacrifice in the open fields because it was the same as worshiping demons. They were to bring their sacrifice to the tabernacle so the priest could offer it as a sweet-smelling aroma to JEHOVAH. Those who did not bring their sacrifices to the tabernacle would be cut off from the people. Many Christians feel they can worship JEHOVAH wherever they like. It doesn’t matter if they go to church or stay home. It matters. People who cannot make it to church because they are housebound, or in a nursing home, still can worship with others through television and Internet. It isn’t the same as being in person, but it is the next best thing. However, JEHOVAH didn’t speak to the infirm, He spoke to the able-bodied who sacrificed their offerings in the field in the same way heathens did in offering their sacrifices to demons. When you worship JEHOVAH with other believers, you receive many benefits—encouragement, strength, blessings, and you can give the same in return. Your presence in the congregation matters to JEHOVAH. Hear what the author of Hebrews said about meeting together. Hebrews 10:24 Let us consider one another to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Your life is through the blood sacrificed on the cross. When you come together to worship and praise Yeshuwa for the sacrifice He made for you, you bring a sweet-smelling aroma to heaven, and JEHOVAH will bless you as you worship Him with other believers. Yeshuwa is your life, your breath, the reason for your being. Worship Him in the congregation surrounded by other believers and receive the blessings JEHOVAH has for you. Let’s pray: Father, Your Son poured out His life for me. Let me praise and worship You in the congregation with my whole heart and receive the many blessings You have for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 2 May 2024 by Valerie Routhieaux The image belongs to me.

I am partially disabled; and I didn't know that TV services would be acceptable. I can't walk far enough to get into a church. Thank you for this Bible study. Have a blessed day.

There's a wonderful woman who lives here, her husband used to be a minister. She can't get to church any longer, so she watches several ministries on television. It's perfectly acceptable. Even my church broadcasts its services on YouTube and FB. Have a blessed day.

Yes, there is something special about congregating with like-minded people for worshipping God. "where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." said Jesus, and this does happen in every church gathering, gathered together in Jesus's name.
