Day 109 – Wickedness Leviticus 20:1 Then JEHOVAH spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Again, you will say to the children of Israel, ‘Whoever of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell in Israel, who gives any of his descendants to Molech, he will be put to death. The people of the land will stone him with stones. 3 I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name. 4 If the people of the land should in any way hide their eyes from the man, when he gives some of his descendants to Molech, and they do not kill him, 5 then I will set My face against that man and against his family; and I will cut him off from his people, and everyone who prostitutes themselves with him to commit harlotry with Molech. 6 “The person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people. 7 Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am JEHOVAH your Elohiym. 8 You will keep My statutes and perform them; I am JEHOVAH who sanctifies you. 9 ‘For everyone who curses his father, or his mother will be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother. His blood will be upon him. 10 ‘The man who commits adultery with another man’s wife, he who commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife, the adulterer, and the adulteress, will be put to death. 11 The man who lies with his father’s wife has uncovered his father’s nakedness; both will be put to death. Their blood will be upon them. 12 If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both will be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood will be upon them. 13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both have committed an abomination. They will be put to death. Their blood will be upon them. 14 If a man marries a woman and her mother, it is wickedness. They will be burned with fire, both he and they, that there may be no wickedness among you. 15 If a man mates with an animal, he will be put to death, and you will kill the animal. 16 If a woman approaches any animal and mates with it, you will kill the woman and the animal. They will be put to death. Their blood is upon them. 17 ‘If a man takes his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and sees her nakedness and she see his nakedness, it is a wicked thing. They will be cut off in the sight of their people. He has uncovered his sister’s nakedness. He will bear his guilt. 18 If a man lies with a woman during her sickness and uncovers her nakedness, he has exposed her flow, and she has uncovered the flow of her blood. Both will be cut off from their people. 19 You will not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister nor of your father’s sister, for it would uncover his near of kin. They will bear their guilt. 20 If a man lies with his uncle’s wife, he has uncovered his uncle’s nakedness. They will bear their sin; they will die childless. 21 If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing. He has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They will be childless. 22 ‘You will therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and perform them, that the land where I am bringing you to dwell may not vomit you out. 23 You will not walk in the statutes of the nation which I am casting out before you; for they commit all these things, and therefore I abhor them. 24 ‘I have said to you, “You will inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey.” I am JEHOVAH your Elohiym, who separated you from the peoples. 25 You will, therefore, distinguish between clean animals and unclean, between unclean birds and clean, and you will not make yourselves abominable by beast or by bird, or by any kind of living thing that creeps on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. 26 You will be holy to Me, for I JEHOVAH am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine. 27 ‘A man or a woman who is a medium, or who has familiar spirits, will be put to death; they will stone them with stones. Their blood will be upon them.’” God’s name: JEHOVAH – Self-existent, Eternal Elohiym – Mighty God Yeshuwa – Jesus God’s character: Judge Today, you can see every sin mentioned here in open display, embraced by the government and the church. No one looks away from it, but readily acknowledges it and even partakes in it. JEHOVAH told Moses that everyone who participated in abominable sin should be killed. Everyone who participated in an unclean sin would be cut off from his people and die childless, bearing their guilt. Everyone who offered his children as sacrifices to foreign gods or had familiar spirits would also be put to death. People today consider JEHOVAH’S judgment against those people as unjust. Yet Elohiym said everyone who practiced such would never see heaven. Revelation 21:8 “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (NKJV) They never accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord. They never accepted Elohiym as their Elohiym but did whatever they desired. However, those who come out of their abominable wickedness, and accept Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, Elohiym forgives and covers them with the blood of His Son, Yeshuwa. JEHOVAH is a forgiving Elohiym. He will forgive you when you come to Him with a pure heart and put away your wickedness and embrace Him as Savior and Lord. Your sin is the reason Yeshuwa died on the cross. Your sin is the reason Elohiym could not look at His Son while He hung on the cross. Your sin separated you from Elohiym. Once you accepted Yeshuwa as Savior and Lord, He forgave you and cleansed you from all unrighteousness. Don’t let Satan pull you back into your wickedness but do as Yeshuwa said to the woman caught in adultery, “Go and sin no more.” He forgave her. He will forgive you too. Let’s pray: Father, I am a sinner, deserving of eternal damnation. Forgive me and cleanse me from my sin and cover me with the blood of Your Son. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
