I do not know how my day will be

My primary student had a couple of seizures yesterday afternoon and was taken away by ambulance. His family has a history of not keeping him home when ill. He really should stay home today to recover. Lots of weather related things happening in Kansas. I hope we all are safe. Many things I need to get done here at home, so I will quite likely be scarce. I hope to see you later today though, and tell you how things went.

He is okay, but they will likely get worse as he ages.

No, there really is not. It is a progression of a disability he was born with.

@GardenGerty Your schools finish so much earlier than ours do. Our kids are in school until the very end of June and return the day after Labour Day.

I hope your student is all right today, and his parents do what is right for him. Keep safe in the unstable weather. We're getting rain today too. Have a good day.

In spite of the forecast, the day turned out sunny. They kept my kiddo home to rest.

The student stayed home. I had time to work on cleaning his wheel chair that we leave at school.

That's a shame that the parents don't keep the poor child home when he is ill. I hope your day goes well.

They actually did this time. I think they will more often now. He has been healthier this year in many ways, though.

Weather can become very frightening, especially when tornadoes are swiping through! I will pray for your safety, Heather:)

Is it asthma? Maybe they can't tell when an attack will present itself .

No, this is a seizure, and electrical shortage in the brain that can cause unconsciousness, and uncontrollable body movements.
