Tomorrow there´s a lot to do.

Anita is coming as in every Wednesday. And I have my brother and sister in law for dinner too.
I boiled the tongue and ate a delicious tongue sandwich with homemade mayo for dinner.
The mayo will be used in a potato salad I´ll make tomorrow.
I will also make a green salad and will ask Anita to make a chimichurri just in case.
If Anita is willing, I´ll ask her to make pancakes. I can serve that for dessert and give her some too.
And if there is time, I´ll make a spinach and leek soup.
If the day is as cold as today, I´ll turn on a other heater in the dining room too. And I´ll set the table as soon as we finish eating our lunch.
Lately I´m using my good china when there are visitors. My daughters are not interested in them so I might as well take them out of the cupboard now.
I´ll turn off the lights early today. I want to be fresh for tomorrow. Sleep tight, friends.

I make chimichurri often in summer. Today i want to have other alternatives for the tongue besides mayo.

@LadyDuck I´ll have mayo and chimichurri. And now that Anita IS coming, I´ll have her make the crepes. She makes them better than me, now that my hands tremble.

@marguicha My mother served the tongue with a parsley sauce that was not very different from chimichurri.

I used to make a potato leek soup that I really liked. I should see if I can find the recipe and make it again this fall.
