5.9. The Quiet Side

Silence can be both good and bad. When I'm quiet, it helps me think about things I need to do. But sometimes, when I'm around other people, being quiet can cause problems. People might think I'm in my own world, and they even ask if I can talk. Being quiet has its benefits. It gives me time to think and figure things out. But sometimes, people don't understand why I'm quiet. They might think I'm weird or different from them. Even though being quiet can be hard sometimes, it's a part of who I am. I'm learning to be okay with it and to speak up when I need to. And even if people don't always get it, being quiet helps me in my own way. Have you ever felt misunderstood for being quiet, and how do you navigate being yourself in a world that sometimes values loudness over silence?

I am quiet, but I am sociable, when I am with people I listen and I talk if I feel there is something to say.

How do you feel about your way of interacting? Do you find it works well for you in most situations?

If you're quiet they wanna know what's wrong, if you're loud they wanna know what's wrong. Either way if they ask you what's wrong say I'm just fine. Politely of course as you can

That can definitely be frustrating—feeling like you're being scrutinized no matter how you choose to express yourself. It seems like you've found a polite way to reassure people that you're okay, which is great.
