Trump praised a fictional cannibal last night

For real. The guy is rapidly deteriorating. I'm honestly surprised that his campaign allows him to speak in public in any form other than pre-recorded, scripted, and vetted video clips. I guess they *had* to let him do a rally yesterday so he could decompress from a rough week of sitting in court listening to people like Stormy Daniels testify. Still it wasn't a wise thing to put the guy out there. I watched almost an hour of the rally before I had to turn it off before my ears started bleeding. He said several insane things including a reference to studying inflation reports from 300 and 500 years ago. The most notable one for most people, however, was a reference to Hannibal Lecter--the cannibal in the movie The Silence of the Lambs. He literally said: "Silence of the Lambs. Has anyone ever seen The Silence of the Lambs? The late, great Hannibal Lecter is a wonderful man. He often times would have a friend for dinner. Remember the last scene? 'Excuse me I'm about to have a friend for dinner' as his poor doctor walked by. 'I'm about to have a friend for dinner.' But Hannibal Lecter. Congratulations. The late great Hannibal Lecter." Um WTF?!?!?!?! First of all Hannibal Lecter is a fictional character. Secondly he isn't supposedly dead. Third--HE IS A PSYCHOPATHIC KILLER AND CANNIBAL. What the hell is supposed to be so "great" about him? What was Trump even rambling about? The MAGA cult members in Wildwood ate it up anyway just like they love all of the insane things he says. They literally would drink the Kool-Aid.
